We’re thrilled to introduce the newly redesigned Action Sports Hub at https://actionsportshub.net! Our updated site is now packed with exciting features focused on building a thriving community and protecting the creativity behind the images you love.

Why These Changes Matter:

1. International Accessibility:

– The site is now available in English to better serve our international visitors and attract a broader audience. This change allows us to increase our reach and generate more advertising revenue, which will be reinvested into the site’s development. As we grow, we’ll need more powerful hardware, currently rented from the web hosting company Hostinger.

2. Building a Thriving Community:

– We’ve evolved into a community hub featuring groups and forums where like-minded action sports enthusiasts can connect. Our focus is initially on motorsports and horse sports, with each area having dedicated leadership:

– Ingela will be responsible for horse sports, ensuring a vibrant and inclusive space for equestrian enthusiasts.

– I, Magnus, will oversee motorsports along with the initial responsibility for managing all aspects of the community as we establish our foundation.

3. Image Protection Measures:

– To safeguard the integrity of our work against misuse, registration is now required for downloading free images. Displayed images are in .jpg format with a watermark, although downloaded files, even the free ones, will be in their original format without watermarks.

– We’ve previously encountered issues with image theft, including unauthorized sales on stock photo sites. We successfully reclaimed our rights, ensuring original ownership.

– If we decide to sell a photo featuring someone, we will obtain their permission and share the earnings with them.

4. A Brand-New Webshop:

– Our webshop offers high-resolution images for purchase and free images in 1280 px resolution for registered users. Exclusive t-shirt prints designed specifically for Action Sports Hub will soon be available for those eager to represent their love for action sports.

5. Introducing a Reward System:

– Our new reward system makes your experience even more rewarding! Registered members can start earning and tracking points directly on the site. While we’re still working out the specifics, updates on point usage are coming soon.

6. Commitment to Free and Accessible Content:

– We aim to keep the site free and accessible to everyone. While we will sell higher-resolution images, all images published until the end of March will be available for free. Lower-resolution images will always remain free!

– I will continue to add images to the site, and some older images will remain available for free download.
